Description:
The SI220 is a high performance Smart Interrupter for monitoring the effectiveness of Cathodic Protection systems. It is a solid state device for use by Corrosion Technicians to enable the interruption of the CP current thereby allowing the integrity of the pipeline coating to be evaluated without disturbing the pipeline as part of the routine maintenance of cathodically protected pipes.
Features:
- Has the ability to switch currents up to 100 Amps at 220V peak (155V rms)
- Capable to synchronise up to 8 units using a GPS time stamping system (supplied as standard) the SI220 can be used to monitor a variety of CP systems and the effect of multiple CP sources
- The product comes as a 2 part kit comprising a base unit controller which drives the 100A switching capability booster pack
- Lightweight and modular the product is designed for the typical kinds of field use and environment that the CP technician will come across
